Mitat Balla
Mitat started his amateur boxing career in 1970 and turned professional after becoming Amateur Australian Champion.
He went on to win a professional Victorian title and began working as a trainer himself in 1992.
Mitat has since then coached multiple Australian champions from the ground up, amateur and professional. He has in fact won Australian Amateur Trainer of the year four times for his efforts as a coach.
He has been running his own successful boxing gym in Tarneit since 1992. The Balla Boys were also trained here during their amateur careers and continued to be supported by Mitat during their time as professional boxers.
